A distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor off Capri, Italy.
A distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor off Capri, Italy. She has her port anchor deployed and two accommodation ladders are rigged aft, one to the main deck and one to a shell door. A boat is close under the stern of the ship and another one is returning to the ship from the shore. A gaff is fitted to the ship's mainmast. Two single masted sailing vessels are drying sails in the harbour in the foreground and a few steam or motor yachts are berthed in the corner of the harbour, partly obscured by trees.
