A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. She has her port anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft with one of the ship's boats alongside it. Lifeboat number 17 has been launched and one of the ship's manual lifeboats is alongside the hull forward with four men washing down or painting the hull. A number of local rowing boats are gathered near the ship's stern. The Blue Peter is flying from the starboard yardarm and the Norwegian flag is at the foremast head.
