A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor in an unknown location. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Lifeboat 15 has been launched and seaboat number 3 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. One of her shell doors is open and a rope ladder is hanging down from it to the water. She is flying the Blue Peter from the bridge signal halyard.
