She is dressed overall and has an accommodation ladder rigged aft with a boat alongside it and another boat standing off. Her foremast derrick is swung out to port, lifeboat 16 has been launched and seaboat 4 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. The Royal Navy light cruiser Comus (1914) of the 2nd Light Cruiser Squadron, Atlantic Fleet, is at anchor on the left of the picture. She is also dressed overall and everything aft of her funnels is out of the picture.
