A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor in French waters. She has her port anchor deployed, the foremast derrick is swung to port and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft. Number 3 seaboat is swung out and lowered to boat deck level. She has what appears to the French flag at the foremast head and in the right background is the stern of a French warship. The negative is very slightly out of focus. A vertical format negative.
