A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored in Isfjord off Aandalsnes, Norway. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to her main deck aft and a boat is alongside it. Lifeboat 17 has been launched. One of her motor lifeboats is returning to the ship from the shore. The photographer is standing by a wooden slipway and berthed alongside a pier on the left is a Norwegian registered motor fishing vessel with the port registration M-52-VE on her bow. She is seen from fine off her starboard bow and she has two rowing boats registered M-29-VE alongside her. The mountains in the background are hidden by a band of low cloud.
