A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor off Ajaccio, Corsica.
A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor off Ajaccio, Corsica. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to her main deck aft. Number 15 lifeboat has been launched and number 3 seaboat has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. The ship is flying the Blue Peter from the bridge signal halyard. The French Navy battleship Jean Bart (1911) is at anchor in the background. She is seen from off her starboard side, just ahead of the beam, and everything aft of her second funnel is out of the picture.
