A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) just under way passing the island of Santorini, Greece
A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) just under way passing the island of Santorini, Greece. She is flying a single flag from the bridge signal halyard and it looks like the letter W flag which indicates that the ship requires medical assistance. Lifeboat 16 is missing from her davits and has presumably been launched. Seaboat 4 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. The top of the foremast is out of the picture.
