A slightly distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor in Sognefjord, off Balholm, Norway. She has her starboard anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft with a boat alongside it. Lifeboat 16 has been launched and number 4 seaboat has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. She is emitting a column of smoke from her aft funnel. The photographer is on shore looking over fields and some shoreside buildings. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
