A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor in an unknown location. She has her starboard anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft. A large pontoon is alongside her ladder with two boats alongside it. One of the ship's tenders is near a midship shell door and another is moving away from the bow of the ship. The foremast derrick is swung to port and number 4 seaboat has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. A Blue Peter is flying from the foremast head.
