A very distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor off Philippeville, Algeria. Motor lifeboat 18 is bringing passengers towards rthe shore in the foreground and another of the ship's boats is heading out of the harbour between the breakwaters. The random stone breakwater on the left has a lighthouse on the end of it and the other two breakwaters on the right also have lighthouses on their ends. Only the upperworks of the Otranto (1925) are visible above the breakwater. The small fishing port of Stora is in the backgroiund.
