A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Otranto (1925) at anchor in Sognefjord, off Balholm, Norway. She has both anchors deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft. Some of her lifeboats and seaboat number 3 have been launched. A man is on the rope ladder suspended from the forward well and other men are on her starboard anchor chain. The photographer is on shore and the ship is framed by trees.
