A slightly distant port quarter view of the 4-masted barque Passat (1911) under sail in the open sea.
A slightly distant port quarter view of the 4-masted barque Passat (1911) under sail in the open sea. She is loaded down to her marks and would be bound for a discharge port in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately her ensign cannot be made out as this would narrow the date of the image down to before or after her sale to Gustaf Erikson in 1932. The photographer is on board the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Montclare (1922). The horizon is not level. A vertical format negative.
