A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Samaria (1921) alongside a pier in New York harbour.
A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Samaria (1921) alongside a pier in New York harbour. She is flying the Blue Peter from her foremast head and is berthed port side to the pier. The funnels of the Swedish-Amerika Line liner Kungsholm (1928) can be seen on the far side of the pier buildings. The building has Pier 6 on the end of it but the Marine Photo Service say this is 57th Street Pier. Three U.S. Navy four stack destroyers are in the background. Negative number P84907 was taken on the same occasion. This is a duplicate copy of negative number P84911.
