A starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathaird (1932) at anchor off Gibraltar. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door aft. Her lifeboat number 17 has been launched. Her foremast derrick is swung out to port and she is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. The coaling wharf on the Western Arm is in the left background and the lighthouse on the end of the South Mole is in the right background. There is slight image movement.
