She has both anchors deployed and accommodation ladders are rigged to shell doors amidships and aft. Lifeboat number 17 has been swung out and is suspended under her davits. A waterboat and gondolas are alongside the ship. In the left background is the stern of the Italian Navy light cruiser Bari (1914). The bell tower of the church of San Giorgio Maggiore is on the extreme right on the picture.
