A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathaird (1932) alongside a wharf at Ceuta, Morocco. She is berthed port side to the wharf and has two accommodation ladders rigged. The top of her mainmast is out of the picture. A large hose appears to be connected to her hull amidships, presumably she is taking on bunkers. The photographer is looking along the wharf showing a number of motor cars and motor coaches parked next to the ship with crowds of people near them. Souvenirs are laid out on the ground and local traders are hoping to sell them to the ship's passengers. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P84956, P84958, P84959 and P84986 were taken on the same occasion.
