A single masted sailing vessel is alongside the mole in the foreground and a man is carrying some of its cargo ashore on a long, narrow plank. A motor vehicle and the Castel Nuovo is on the right and the Molo Beverello is in the centre background. A Savoia-Marchetti S66 flying boat is on the water on the left.
