A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathaird (1932) at anchor in an unknown location. Her port anchor is deployed and she has accommodation ladders rigged to shell doors amidships and aft. Two of her boats are close alongside. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. Substantial buildings, including a domed building topped with a spire and a tall clock or bell tower, are on the shoreline and scattered among trees of the steeply sloping, wooded hills in the background. Negatives numbers P84972, P84973 and P84980 were taken on the same occasion.
