She has her starboard anchor deployed, brows are rigged to the promenade deck aft and she is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. A single masted sailing vessel is alongside the mole in the foreground and a man is carrying some of its cargo ashore on a long, narrow plank. The Castel Nuovo is on the right and two passenger vessels are berthed stern-on to the Molo Beverello in the centre background. A Savoia-Marchetti S66 flying boat is on the water on the left.
