A slightly distant port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathallan (1938) anchored and moored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. She has both anchors deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to a shell door amidships with one of her boats alongside it. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on the foremast and lifeboat 16 has been launched. The photographer is looking from an elevated position above the Stadgardsleden in the Sodermalm district. The negative is very slightly out of focus. Negatives numbers P84992 and P84993 were taken on the same occasion.
