A port broadside view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathallan (1938) at anchor in the Santorini Caldera, Greece. She has her port anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to a shell door amidships with one of her boats alongside it. The boat appears to be full of passengers. Lifeboat number 6 has been launched. The ship is off the landing place of Ormos Firon and the steep zig-zag path leading up the cliff to the large settlement of Thera and Kondakhor can be seen by the ship's foremast.
