A distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Stratheden (1937) at anchor off Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. She has her port anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to a shell door amidships with one of her boats alongside it and another ladder is rigged to her lower deck aft. Lifeboats 5 and 15 have been launched and she is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on her foremast. She is emitting a column of smoke from her funnel. The photographer is looking south-east across the harbour from the beach showing a number of small craft inside the Kase breakwater. Negatives numbers P85017 to P85021 were taken on the same occasion.
