A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Stratheden (1937) at anchor in Italian waters. She has her starboard anchor deployed and accommodation ladders are rigged amidships and aft. Lifeboat 16 has been launched and lifeboat 6 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. She is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm of her foremast and the Italian ensign from the foremast head. The negative is slightly out of focus.
