A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Stratheden (1937) at anchor in Isfjord, off Aandalsnes, Norway. She has her starboard anchor deployed and two accommodation ladders are rigged amidships and aft. Lifeboats 6 and 16 have been launched. She is flying the Blue Peter from her starboard yardarm and the Norwegian flag from her foremast head. The photographer is ashore looking across railway tracks with a tree in the left foreground. The negative is captioned "Naes" which is the name given to this place by tour operators. A vertical format negative. Negatives Numbers P85026, P85028 and P85029 were taken on the same occasion.
