On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathmore (1935) looking aft, down and slightly to starboard from the crosstrees on the foremast while stopped or just under way in an anchorage. A passenger and three of the ship's officers are on the starboard side of the bridge deck and two officers are looking through a wheelhouse window. A group of passengers are in the forward corner of the promenade deck and others are lining the rail on the forecastle deck. Awnings are rigged over the bridge wing and the boat deck. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P85047 to P85050 were taken on the same occasion.
