A distant port bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathmore (1935) alongside the Alcantara main wharf at Lisbon, Portugal. The ship is berthed port side to the wharf and she is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on her foremast. A piece of canvas is covering her bow crest. Berthed ahead of her is an unidentified passenger liner and a number of motor fishing vessels are berthed in the inner harbour on the right. A few motor cars and a number of people are on the wharf. Negative numbers P85077 to P85082 were taken on the same visit to the port.
