A very distant port quarter view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathmore (1935) at anchor off Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. She has her starboard anchor deployed, accommodation ladders are rigged amidships and aft and lifeboat number 16 has been launched. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm of her foremast. The photographer is looking south-east-by-east from the west side of the Revelin fortress showing part of the fortress wall on the left with boats drawn up on the foreshore. The Kase breakwater is in the centre of the picture. Negatives numbers P85088 to P85092 were taken during the same visit.
