A port broadside view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathnaver (1931) at moorings in Grand Harbour, Malta. She has two accommodation ladders rigged to shell doors amidships and lifeboat number 18 has been launched. A steam passenger tender and one of the ship's boats are alongside the ladders and a few dghaisas are close to the ship. Another steam passenger tender is standing off with a stores lighter numbered 257 in tow. The stern of the ship is just out of the picture. Bighi Royal Naval Hospital is in the left background with Kalkara Creek beyond the ship and Fort St. Angelo is on the right.
