A close view of the bow of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathnaver (1931) at anchor off Palermo, Sicily. The photographer is in a boat directly ahead of the stem looking aft showing the starboard anchor deployed. Motor tender E is alongside the port side and two boats are by the starboard side. People are swimming from a rope ladder hanging down fron the starboard side of the forecastle. A vertical format negative. Negative numbers P85121 to P85123 and P85126 to P85128 were taken on the same occasion.
