Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door aft. Her lifeboat number 18 has been launched and her motor tender has been launched over the port side using the foremast port derrick which is still swung out. In the foreground and seen from wide off her starboard bow is the Spanish paddle passenger ferry Margarita II (1928) underway on her Algeciras, Gibraltar, Tangier and Ceuta service.
