A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathnaver (1931) manoeuvring in Naples harbour, Italy. She appears to be just making way with a line hanging loose from her bow and a small boat alongside a rope ladder from a shell door amidships. The San Vincenzo Mole is in the background. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
