She has two accommodation ladders rigged to shell doors amidships and a passenger tender is alongside the aft one. A water lighter is alongside the stern. The photographer is looking south-east-by-east from the Upper Barrakka in Valletta showing Bighi to the left of Kalkara Creek and a Royal Navy 'D' class light cruiser of the 3rd Cruiser Squadron of the Mediterranean Fleet is moored in the creek. Fort St. Angelo is on the right. Negatives numbers P85150 and P85151 were taken on the same occasion.
