A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the River Nile cruise ship Sudan (1921) moored starboard side to the river bank, probably at Cairo, Egypt. She has the number 5452 painted on her bow (hidden behind two arabs standing in the foreground) and has a number of passengers on the upper deck with members of the crew being on the forecastle deck. Strings of bunting are much in evidence. Local people are on the river bank. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P85177 to P85179 were taken on the same occasion.
