A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Ofotfjord, Norway during a cruise stopover at Narvik. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships. Motor tender F is moving away from the ship and a motor launch with uniformed persons on board is passing her bow. The ensign in this motor launch has not been recognised. The ship is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm and the Norwegian flag from the head of the foremast. Patches of snow are on the mountains in the background. Negative number P85333 was taken on the same occasion.
