Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships. Lifeboat number 6 has been launched. A few bumboats selling wickerwork furniture are alongside the ship. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. The outskirts of Funchal and the hills of Madeira are in the background. Negative number P85226 was taken on the same occasion.
