A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Holandsfjorden, Norway, during a visit to the Svartisen glacier. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with a small boat alongside it. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast and the Norwegian flag from the masthead. Smooth topped mountains with some forests are in the background. Negatives numbers P85227 to P85229, P85277 and P85278 were taken on the same occasion.
