A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored and moored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with two of her boats alongside it. A wooden lighter is alongside amidships and a steam tug is tied alongside aft. Lifeboat number 10 has been launched. The Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) is beyond the Viceroy of India. The photographer is above the Stadsgardsleden in the Katarina district looking north-west showing passenger vessels alongside the Skeppsbrokajen on Gamla Stan on the left with a piling frame in the left foreground.
