A port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored and moored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and a wooden lighter is alongside further aft. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. The Gdynia-America Line cruise ship Pilsudski (1935) is beyond the Viceroy of India and she is dressed overall. The photographer is above the Stadsgardsleden in the Katarina district looking north-west showing passenger vessels alongside the Skeppsbrokajen on Gamla Stan on the left.
