A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Isfjord, off Aandalsnes, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast and lifeboat 15 has been launched. A column of smoke is being emitted from the after funnel. The photographer is on shore by a slipway and motor lifeboat 15 is approaching with a few passengers aboard. Some local children are on the slipway and a wooden 2-storey cafe is on the left. Mountains are in the background.
