A distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Holandsfjorden, Norway, during a visit to the Svartisen Glacier. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with a boat alongside it. One of her boats is between the ship and the shore and motor tender A is alongside the landing pier. One of the ship's crew and three passengers are on the pier. A small passenger/cargo coaster is at anchor on the right of the picture. The negative is captioned 'Svartisen'.
