A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Holandsfjorden, Norway, during a visit to the Svartisen Glacier. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with a boat alongside it. Motor lifeboat 15 and motor tender A are alongside the landing pier and a number of the ship's crew and passengers are standing on the pier. A small passenger/cargo coaster is at anchor on the right of the picture. The negative is captioned 'Svartisen'.
