A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. She has both anchors deployed and is moored to a buoy at the stern. She is flying the Blue Peter from the port yardarm on her foremast and the Swedish flag from the masthead. An accommodation ladder is rigged to a shell door amidships but it is in the raised position. A rubbish lighter is alongside an open shell door. A wooden hulled auxiliary ketch is alongside the Stadsgardleden on the right and the Norwegian Navy minelayer and cadet training ship Olav Tryggvason (1932) is at anchor in the left background.
