A distant starboard bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Holandsfjorden, Norway, during a visit to the Svartisen Glacier. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with boats alongside it. Motor lifeboat 15 has been launched. Motor tender F is backing away from the landing pier and one of the ship's crew is standing on the pier holding a boathook. There are small patches of snow on the mountains in the background. The negative is captioned 'Svartisen'.
