A distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored off Trangisvaag, Faroe Islands.
A distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored off Trangisvaag, Faroe Islands. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and one of her boats is alongside it. The photographer is looking across the waterfront and the harbour from the hill above the settlement. The poor depth of field of the camera lens means the image of the ship is out of focus.
