A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at Quarry Wharf in Grand Harbour, Malta. She is moored stern-on to the wharf and has both anchors deployed. An accommodation ladder is rigged to a shell door amidships and she is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. A local passenger launch is crossing her bow from port to starboard. The photographer is in one of her motor tenders with two lascar seamen in the the stern of the boat looking aft. Valletta is in the background. The negative is slightly out of focus.
