A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) alongside a wharf at Alicante, Spain. She is berthed starboard side to the wharf and her port anchor is suspended below its hawse. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships but it is in the raised position. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm on her foremast. The top of her foremast is just out of the picture.
