A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in an unknown location. She has her starboard anchor deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to 'C' deck aft. A rope ladder is suspended over the side at the forward well and a man appears to be at the foot of it. The Blue Peter is flying from the port yardarm on the foremast. The negative is slightly out of focus.
