A starboard bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Ofotfjord, off Narvik, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and her motor tender F is pulling away from the ladder. She has the Blue Peter at the port yardarm and the Norwegian flag at the foremast head. A motor launch with uniformed men on board is passing her bow. The ensign in this motor launch has not been recognised. There are patches of snow on the rugged mountains in the background. Negative number P85219 was taken on the same occasion.
