A starboard bow view, taken from very wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor in Holandsfjorden, Norway, during a visit to the Svartisen Glacier. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships with one of her boats alongside it. Motor lifeboat 15 has been launched and one of her boats is approaching from astern. There are small patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
